So this morning, I decided to tackle the (what used to feel impossible) bonus levels in the game #Flipon on my #NintendoSwitch after beating the game a second time on my phone last night. This was also the title that was the first to establish this series as being styled as “Puzzle League” outside of Japan, which is kind of funny because now the ENTIRE series is called Puzzle League just because ONE game in the series, Pokemon Puzzle League, add the phrase “Puzzle League” in the title in an attempt to tie the game in with the idea of the Pokemon League from the mainline Pokemon games. What always fascinated me about this release is the fact that its the first version of this game to be released without any sort of tie-ins to other Nintendo franchises like Yoshi or Pokemon, or even feature the original fairy characters of Panel De Pon.
